About Samobor
Samobor is located in Western Croatia, 23 km to the west of the capital city of Zagreb. This long-lived city of the arts is famous for its hand-cut leaded glass (Samobor Crystal). Overlooking the Samobor main square are 13th century ruins of the Old Town, and the area offers bath resorts, parks and gardens, and museums. Samobor is called the "cradle of Croatian hiking" - with marked paths within the city and also in the surrounding mountains.
